Host families in Malta are well known for their hospitality. All our host families are carefully selected and regularly visited by our Maltalingua accommodation personnel. Malta is one of the few countries in the world in which host families must adhere to strict governmental rules and regulations and are required to possess a valid tourism licence.
All our host families are located within close proximity of the school or the residence. For full board accommodation, a healthy variety of home cooking is provided and special dietary needs are catered for (Maltalingua needs to be informed about this at the booking stage). On most days, a packed lunch is handed out to the students to take with them in order to increase the flexibility of the activity programme. Students are accommodated in twin, triple or quad rooms. Bed linen is provided and washed once a week; however, students are asked to bring their own towels and beach towels.
During their free time students engage with other students in a full programme of cultural and sporting activities as well as regular evening entertainment.
